Night at the AGO

I was thinking one day of things to do with my girlfriend, but at the moment I have few hours at work, so we need something to do that is low priced. So I googled, cheap things to do in Toronto and what came up was this, website referring to awesome things in Toronto for a low or no price at all. http://gocanada.about.com/od/canadiancities1/tp/toronto_cheap_or_free.htm

We decided that on Wednesday night when the gates were open, we would check it out the AGO.

We we're actually surprised that we can just walk in and see everything. We ended up walking everywhere looking at the paintings and empty frames.(wink wink)

(They really do have empty frames, who knew)

I believe we only explored maybe half of AGO, before it was 8:30 closing time. Its really cool in there, although it can we boring if you stay in the same place to long. I might have bored Dorrett at times, well all to all it was a sophisticated night for the both of us.

I also found it pretty neat, that AGO, made it interactive for visitors, such as a word wall, where you can put words in order to leave quotes and drawing desk in front of paintings for you to draw.

( Instead of quotes, sayings that mean absolutely nothing to everyone else but you)

There is this way cool staircase that goes in circles, its long, so I hope you make it up all the way. Our adventure at AGO was definitely fun, mostly when the security guard approached us with annoyance after I shadowed a painting in order to point out detail. (might have touched one, sorry AGO)

(Took me forever to get Dorrett in a picture, Success)

So remember, keep a distance from the painting and join us on our next adventure
